Support
Email support@hippora.co.uk. Hippora is made by one person, and we aim to reply within 3 working days.
Report a safety concern
If something Hippora did may have affected your medicines, tell us — write SAFETY in the subject. For example, a reminder that didn’t come, or a medicine or time shown wrongly. We look at every safety report within 2 working days.
If you think you have taken too much or too little of a medicine, contact your pharmacist or call NHS 111. In an emergency, call 999.
Contact us from the app
In Hippora, go to Settings, then Help & support, then Contact support. This opens an email that already includes your app version, your phone’s software version and your phone model, which helps us find the problem faster. It includes nothing else: no medicines and no record.
Common questions
My reminders aren’t arriving
A reminder may ask whether to keep Hippora's notifications on. Choose Leave On, so your reminders still come through when your phone is set to Do Not Disturb.
If reminders still don’t arrive, check these on your iPhone:
- Open Settings, then Notifications, then Hippora. Make sure Allow Notifications is on, and Time Sensitive Notifications is on.
- If you use a Focus, such as Sleep or Work, check that it allows Time Sensitive notifications.
- Open Hippora and check the medicine’s times are the ones you expect.
If none of that helps, please email us, and write SAFETY in the subject if a missed reminder affected your medicines.
I have a new phone, or I lost my phone
Your Hippora information is kept only on the phone where you entered it, and it can’t be moved or recovered. Nobody, including us, has a copy. On a new phone, install Hippora and add your medicines again.
What happens if I delete the app?
Everything you entered in Hippora is deleted with it, and it can’t be recovered.
Does Hippora need the internet?
No. Reminders and your record work without a connection.
Does it cost anything?
No. Hippora is free, with nothing to unlock.
Can I use it for someone else’s medicines, or a child’s?
Hippora is designed for adults keeping track of their own medicines. It isn’t designed for recording medicines for anyone else, including children.
Can you tell me about my medicines?
No, we can’t give medical advice. Please ask your pharmacist or doctor.
How is my information kept private?
Hippora keeps your information on your iPhone, encrypted, and sends nothing to us. Our privacy policy explains this in full.
Important
Hippora reminds you when to take a medication based on dosing schedules that you set. It does not give medical advice. Always follow your pharmacy label and check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure about your medicines.
